Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for per diem shifts at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. You will perform ultrasound scans to support physicians' diagnoses and help train technologists and students.

The role requires completion of an accredited ultrasound program, current RDMS/registrations, CPR/BLS, and flexible hours including weekends and one holiday per year.

Qualifications

• The level of knowledge normally obtained through an accredited Ultrasound program including clinical training.
• All sonographers must be certified and currently registered as RDMS/RT(S)/RT(VS)/RVT/RVS or registry eligible with certification within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound scans on patients to assist physicians in diagnosis.
• Monitor patient condition and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Assist in training technologists and students.

## Ultrasound Technologist - Per DiemApplylocations: NCH 880 W Central Rd Arlington Heightstime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R45873**Hourly Pay Range:**$35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** # **SIGN-ON BONUS: $1,000*** Position: Ultrasound Technologist* Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL* Per Diem/PRN* **Per Diem Options (within a 6-week period):** Level 1 (32-72 hours), Level 2 (73-110 hours), Level 3 (111-144 hours)* **Per Diem Level Differentials:** Level 1 additional $4.00 per hour, Level 2 additional $5.00 per hour, Level 3 additional $6.00 per hour* Hours: Varies to meet the needs of the department* Rotating weekends and will work one holiday per year**What you will do:**Reporting to the Director of Radiology/Imaging with accountability to the team facilitator and the team, performs ultrasound scans on patients in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis of medical disorders. Monitors patient's condition; maintains area equipment and supplies; assists in training technologists and students.**What you will need:*** The level of knowledge normally obtained through an accredited Ultrasound program including clinical training.* All sonographers must be certified and currently registered as a RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), RT(S), RT (VS) (American Registry of Radiologic Technology-Sonography/Vascular Sonography), RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) or registry eligible.
