Under the supervision of radiologists and the Manager of Special Imaging, following established procedures, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries. Uses ultrasound equipment based on sonography principles to produce images indicating tissue size and depth. Promotes patient and family-centered care aligned with Brown University Health and The Miriam Hospital's mission, considering all developmental and cultural aspects.
Knowledge and Experience: ARDMS certification required; 1+ year ultrasound experience preferred; experience in healthcare settings with patient contact; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; adherence to safety protocols.
