Job summary

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision. The role requires ARDMS eligibility and RVT/ABD/OB certification within specified timeframes, and the ability to work flexible shifts across locations.

Base responsibilities include patient assessment and education while maintaining safety standards. The position supports a rotating 8-hour schedule in the United States, with a focus on quality care and collaboration

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prefer at least one-year experience performing Ultrasound Procedures.
• ARDMS eligible (One ARDMS certification in either Abd or OB within 6 months of date of hire). Must have RVT within one year of date of hire. Must have ARDMS certification in Abd, OB, RVT and Breast all completed within two years of hire at the rate of one every 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures and operates the electronic system to verify and process orders.
• Maintains infection control practices and a clean, organized work environment.
• Monitors patient condition and documents changes as needed.
• Educates patients and families about the procedure and addresses questions.
• Adheres to hospital safety, quality standards and CI-CARE guidelines.
