Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• RDMS certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• RDV (Registered Vascular Technician) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Maintain quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• Document exam completion in Meditech and verify images in PACS.
• Follow procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
• Document patient history including lab values.
