Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to perform ultrasound/sonography procedures used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Sonography program, BLS/ALS certification, and appropriate ARRT/ARDMS registrations. You will ensure patient safety, quality imaging, and professional collaboration in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Sonography Technology.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS); required.
• Possesses ARRT/ARDMS/other registry credentials as listed in the job description.
• Must obtain vascular registry if applicable within designated timeframe.

Mansioni

• Performs ultrasound/sonography procedures on patients and prepares them for the exam.
• Explains procedures, positions patients, and selects imaging techniques.
• Ensures technical quality of ultrasound images and enters patient data accurately.
• Conducts quality assurance on ultrasound equipment.
• Assists with accreditation and renewal applications as needed.
• Responds to emergencies and adheres to hospital policies and safety standards.
