Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Sonography Technology.
Licensure includes ARRT or equivalent certifications (ARRT-S/VS/RDMS/RDCS/etc.).
Ability to lift and assist patients in patient-care activities.

Responsibilities

Performs ultrasound/sonography procedures and explains the exam to patients.
Positions patients and selects imaging techniques for high-quality images.
Enters and monitors patient data in systems.
Performs equipment quality assurance and may assist with accreditation processes.
Identifies and reports accidents, complaints or equipment malfunctions to management.
Takes on-call shifts as required within the department.
Ensures safe, compassionate, and efficient care following Memorial Hermann policies.
