Advocate Health is seeking a per diem/PRN ultrasound technologist at the Pineville Ultrasound department. The role prioritizes coordination with nursing, radiology, and referring physicians to schedule and perform ultrasound exams according to department protocols.

You will operate ultrasound equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and assist radiologists with invasive procedures when needed. Strong attention to quality and efficiency is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Certified by ARDMS or ARRT(S) required.
• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program preferred.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Interpersonal skills required.

Aufgaben

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performance of invasive procedures.
• Evaluates technical quality of exam and develops a superior varied technique.
• Supports Patient-Centered Care Philosophy and meeting patient needs.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.
• Operates the Radiology computer system, including entering and charging exams and supplies.
• Maintains neat and stocked work area and adheres to departmental rules.
