Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville - Ultrasound: Steele Creek is seeking a part-time ultrasound technologist to prioritize and coordinate exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians. You will perform ultrasound exams according to departmental protocols and provide patient care related to the requested exam while operating equipment proficiently.

This PRN role requires ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification, BLS, and completion of a diagnostic ultrasound program.

Qualifications

• Certified by ARDMS or ARRT(S) required.
• Graduate of a comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound program preferred.
• BLS required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and coordinates ultrasound exams with nursing units, radiologists, and referring physicians.
• Performs ultrasound exams in accordance to departmental protocols and standards.
• Operates ultrasound and associated equipment with proficiency.
• Reports malfunctioning equipment to leadership.
