Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound exams including abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts and vascular studies. You will ensure high-quality images, document in PACS/RIS/EMR, and maintain diagnostic completeness for radiologists.

You will work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting, collaborating with staff to uphold clinical standards, while mentoring students and contributing to QA and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen/OB-GYN or eligible
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• 1–2 years clinical ultrasound experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state licensure where required
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS and EMR systems
• Strong image optimization and scanning protocols
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient setting
• Good communication with patients, radiologists and staff
• Commitment to QA and ongoing professional development
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to team culture

Responsibilities

Precision and clinical expertise: You perform the full spectrum of ultrasound exams - abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN across all three trimesters, small parts, and vascular studies and you own the quality of every image you produce. Your scanning protocols are solid, your image optimization is second nature, and you review your own work for diagnostic completeness before it reaches the radiologist.

Mastery of standards and systems: You bring real knowledge of ultrasound anatomy, physiology, and multi-specialty protocols. You're a Strong Fit if You Have

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty required - or registry-eligible with a clear path to certification
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• 1-2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
