Job Description

Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health is accepting resumes for an ON-CALL Ultrasound Technologist to provide services to our deserving military at West Point, New York.

Requirements

• One year of comprehensive ultrasound experience including advanced imaging techniques, breast imaging, OB/GYN imaging in all trimesters, vascular (RVT), and interventional.
• AS degree and graduation from an accredited (CAAHEP) School of Diagnostic Sonography, or an Allied Health program with 12 months of full-time instruction in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or a bachelor's degree with similar instruction.
• ARDMS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced ultrasound imaging and use PACS applications proficiently.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform ultrasound scans, process data into images, and interpret results with radiologists.
• Patient interaction: explain procedures, position patients, and counsel regarding risks/benefits.
• Ensure safety and maintain equipment and records.
• Communicate with radiologists and physicians about patient status and imaging results.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Adhere to clinic protocols and safety procedures.

Additional duties as assigned, with full range of ultrasound services based on training and experience.

Job Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS HCP) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Relevant educational background and ultrasound experience.
