Qualifications

• Must have completed ultrasound training program and eligibility for ARDMS registry examination.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year of experience as an ultrasound technologist or ultrasound intern.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of sonographic exams including OB/GYN, abdominal and small parts.
• Assist radiologist during invasive procedures.
• Make clinical judgments based on information from referring physician, medical records, patient interview and assessments.
