Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures and uses the electronic system to verify and process orders.
• Maintains infection control practices and universal precautions.
• Assess and monitor patients, document changes in condition and support equipment.
• Educates patients and families about procedures.
• Adapts to age-related needs and reduces patient anxiety.
• Attends staff meetings and participates in hospital-wide work groups.
