Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year program in Ultrasound/Sonography.
• Minimum of 3 years ultrasound experience.
• Ability to perform Abdomen/OB/GYN, venous Dopplers, and neonatal/pediatric studies.
• ARDMS registered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and verify identity for ultrasound exams per dept procedures.
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment; ensure safety and report malfunctions.
• Explain exams to patients and coordinate with healthcare staff.
• Develop or modify procedure plans based on health status and history.
• Analyze findings to support physician-directed patient management and diagnosis.
• Record images and provide preliminary summary to radiologist.
