Summary: The primary purpose of your job is to perform all patient exams with the highest degree of skill, fully utilizing all radiographic, fluoroscopic, Ultrasound equipment. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
Education: Other Certificate/Diploma Radiology required.
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Licenses and Credentials: Certified Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required.
Experience: 5+ years experience with abd, OB, and Vascular 5-7 years required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Equal to the completion of a two-year AMA approved Radiologic Technology program and one year of clinical training in Ultrasound scanning techniques in a JCAHO facility. Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment. BLS certified.
