Overview:

Provide diagnostic sonograms for interpretation by radiologists. Assist radiologists in procedures and provide patient care essential to ultrasound-guided interventional procedures. Perform duties consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of a school of sonography or registered technologist
• Experience: - One (1) year of relevant experience with 3 applicable registries OR five (5) years relevant experience with 2 applicable registries.
• Certifications/Registrations: - 2 applicable registries with ARDMS or ARRT within the work area (with five {5} years' experience) OR 3 applicable registries with ARDMS or ARRT within the work area (with one {1} year's experience). Must achieve OB/GYN registry within 6 months of hire, if applicable. In Arkansas, ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS or ARRT VS certification is required within 6 months of hire or transfer, if applicable.
