Job summary

Shannon Medical Center in Texas is seeking a licensed Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams under the supervision of an interpreting physician. The role requires graduating from an accredited program, ARRT/ARDMS registration in at least two specialties, BLS, and a Texas driver’s license.

One year of clinical experience is preferred. You will operate ultrasound equipment, position patients, and prepare images for interpretation, with documentation completed for physician

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Technologist program.
• Current ARRT(S) or ARDMS registration in Sonography.
• ARDMS specialty registered in at least two areas: AB, Vascular, BR, OB/GYN, or PS.
• BLS certification, Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provides ultrasound diagnostic services under physician supervision.
• Positions patient and prepares for exam.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and records images.
• Processes results and documents for interpretation.
