Processes images and coordinates patient care with other patient services. Maintains patient records, keeps track of inventory, orders supplies and maintains proper working order of equipment. Will focus on infant, children, and adolescent patients, as well as adults as needed. All imaging staff must be able to address family and patient concerns to help facilitate a Family Centered Care approach.**Pay Range**Minimum $45.72 Midpoint $60.58 Maximum $75.43*Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.***Experience**• Required: Minimum one (1) year of outpatient and/or acute care Ultrasound Technologist experience with six (6) months in a pediatric setting.• Preferred: One (1) year of acute care Ultrasound Technologist experience in a pediatric inpatient hospital.**Education**• Required: Graduate from an approved education program in Sonography.• Preferred: None**Training**• Required: None• Preferred: None**Specialized Skills**• Required: Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to be a team player; exhibit compassion for the pediatric patient/parents.• Preferred:**Licensure**• Required: · American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered in one or more specialties; Basic Life Support (BLS).• Preferred: Advance certification for Pediatrics and/or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT) a plus.**Work Environments - Functional Demand:**Sedentary - Very light energy level Lift 10 lbs. box overhead.
