Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an Ultrasonographer II PRN for the Radiology Department at Texas Health Alliance in Fort Worth, TX. The role requires 2 years of hospital radiology experience and ARRT/ARDMS credentials, with BCLS and vascular modality credentials as applicable.

Responsibilities include performing ultrasound exams, ensuring image quality, and maintaining equipment. This PRN position supports a team-focused, patient-centered environment at a Joint Commission-accredited facility

Qualifications

• 2 years clinical experience in hospital radiology.
• BCLS certification before independent patient care.
• ARRT Sonography credential or ARDMS certifications required on hire.
• If performing vascular sonography, RVT/VT(RVS) in one modality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patient/guardian prior to and during exam.
• Image appropriate anatomical area and pathology per protocol.
• Adjust parameters to optimize image quality; operate and maintain equipment.
• Prepare room for examination and verify physician orders with time-out procedures.
• Maintain ARDMS/CME credits and CPR as required; perform duties assigned by supervisor.
