Qualifications

• Associate degree in Ultrasound Technology or related field.
• ARRT or ARDMS registration required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a high-stress oncology/hematology/radiology setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for ultrasound imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure proper prep.
• Position patients to image the necessary body parts.
• Acquire complete ultrasound images and transfer to PACS.
• Verify images are received in PACS and prior studies accessible.
• Maintain real-time documentation of each exam.
• Perform scheduled QC on imaging equipment per manufacturer requirements.
• Identify equipment or workflow issues and notify supervisors.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
