The Ultrasound Technologist (sonographer) performs diagnostic procedures using knowledge of anatomy, physiology, physics, and instrumentation to provide technical information to physicians. Responsibilities include performing ultrasound procedures (abdominal, OB/GYN, venous Doppler, small parts, pediatrics, invasive exams), maintaining supplies and equipment, and participating in quality control.
