Position Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist I performs diagnostic medical ultrasound procedures according to established standards of the Radiology Department, under the supervision of the Radiologist. Must distinguish between normal and abnormal anatomical findings and record appropriate images for accurate interpretation. Medical Sonographer I are sonographers with two or fewer specialty certifications through ARDMS.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience: One year of ultrasound experience preferred. Hospital setting experience is preferred. Pediatric experience of at least two years is preferred. Ability to perform diagnostic sonographic examinations.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school. ARDMS certification or eligibility, CPR certification, and 1-2 specialty certifications are required.

CHLA offers a competitive compensation package based on education and experience, along with comprehensive benefits. Final starting pay will be determined considering qualifications and experience.
