Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions is hiring Ultrasound Technologists to support the VA Portland Health Care System. As an Ultrasound Tech, you will perform various ultrasound exams and manage patient care across two locations. Candidates should have ARDMS registration and at least 3 years of U.S. hospital experience, including recent work as a Vascular US Tech.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of U.S. hospital experience.
• Must have worked as an Ultrasound Tech in a hospital within the last 6 months.
• Must maintain professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, liver, renal, GYN, vascular, and small‑parts ultrasound exams.
• Handle complex scanning and consult with radiologists.
• Complete computer documentation, QA image review, and PACS transfers.
• Schedule and prioritize exams, including emergency add‑ons.
• Perform on‑call emergency scans with 24/7 availability when scheduled.
• Resolve scan issues and notify Chief Technologist of unusual cases.
