Qualifications

  • Registered with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers).
  • Must hold two or more sonography certifications (e.g., RVT, OB/GYN, MSK).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Minimum 3 years hospital ultrasound experience in the U.S.
  • Must have worked in a hospital setting within the last six months.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and complex ultrasound examinations including abdomen, liver, renal, gynecological imaging, and small parts scanning.
  • Ensure image quality and proper labeling prior to PACS transmission.
  • Maintain patient documentation and exam records.
  • Coordinate with radiologists for nonstandard exams.
  • Communicate urgent findings to radiologists or physicians.
