Job summary

Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our Cape May Court House and Somers Point offices in New Jersey. The role requires scanning experience in General, Vascular, and Breast, with a focus on patient care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Certification in ultrasound and ARDMS registration required.
• Experience in General, Vascular and Breast ultrasound preferred.
• BLS certification required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasonographic examinations in accordance with policy.
• Ensures patient understanding and consent where required.
• Assists patients on/off tables using lift devices as warranted.
• Completes patient records promptly and accurately.
• Maintains aseptic technique and standard of care.
• Ensures ultrasound equipment is operational and reports issues.
• Contributes to expansion of ultrasonography services and imaging techniques.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
