New York Imaging (NYI) seeks an Ultrasound Technologist General/Breast - Float to support Suffolk County operations. The role covers general, vascular, cardiac, and breast ultrasound with collaborating radiologists. Expect 4/10-hour shifts, Mon, Wed-Fri, with a Tuesday off.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent)
• RDMS Breast required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams including general, vascular, cardiac, gyn, and breast
• Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
• Follow radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
• Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Job Description

Ultrasound Technologist General/Breast - Float

Location: Suffolk County, NY

Hours/Shifts: 4/10 hour shifts, Mon, Wed-Fri (between 7:30am-6:00pm), RDO Tuesday

Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams. Including: general, vascular, cardiac, gyn/small parts, as well as breast (screening, diagnostic, procedural)
• Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
• Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
• Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
