Job summary

Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and assist with minor surgical procedures for subsequent evaluations and treatment.

This position requires ARDMS in Abdomen and RVT in Vascular by start date, CPR/BLS certification, and an Associate's degree from a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Hours are 2pm-10:30pm with holiday rotation; pediatric experience is not required.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registered in Abdomen required by start date.
• RVT registered in Vascular required by start date.
• CPR/BLS certification required by start date.
• Associate's Degree from a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures for subsequent evaluations and treatment.
• Participate in back up call and a holiday rotation.
• Hours: 2pm-10:30pm.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• ARDMS - registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Abdomen required upon start date. ARDMS certification must be maintained throughout employment.
• RVT - registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in Vascular required upon start date.
• CPR Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required upon start date.
• Associate's Degree. Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Hours: 2pm-10:30pm, this role will also participate in back up call and a holiday rotation.
