Job Description: Ultrasonography Technician

Performs ultrasonography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Uses independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to perform state-of-the-art diagnostic ultrasound procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate accredited ultrasound program preferred.
• License, certification, and/or registration: ARDMS registration required within 1 year of hire or 2 years from graduation, whichever is later. BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: Six months to one year of clinical experience preferred.
• Additional Skills/Abilities: Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and adapting to changing tasks. Willingness to learn vascular ultrasound is required.
