An established healthcare provider is seeking a skilled ultrasound technician to perform advanced diagnostic procedures with minimal supervision. This role requires independent judgment and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with preference given to graduates of accredited ultrasound programs. You will be expected to obtain ARDMS registration within your first year of employment, ensuring your skills are up-to-date. Performs ultrasonography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Uses independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to perform state-of-the-art diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program preferred.
License, certification, and/or registration: ARDMS registered within 1 year of hire or 2 years from graduation date, whichever is later. BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Experience: Six months to one year of clinical experience preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities: Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be willing to learn vascular ultrasound.
