Job summary

Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL seeks an Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies with 2-D imaging, M-mode, and Doppler. You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging for physician evaluation, collaborating with healthcare teams for timely interpretation by reading cardiologists.

You will acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images, assist with TEEs, and maintain equipment and supplies while documenting results in the EMR and protecting patient

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac sonography.
• Proficiency in echocardiographic imaging (2-D, M-mode, Doppler).
• Ability to document results in EMR and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiographic studies per standards and physician guidelines.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during exams.
• Acquires Stress Echo and Dobutamine images within defined timelines.
• Assists with TEEs and maintains equipment and supplies.
• Documents preliminary reports and patient information in the EMR.
