Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound procedures and operate imaging equipment under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor. You will prepare films and coordinate with radiologists while maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and staff.

The ideal candidate completes an ultrasound vocational program, holds ARDMS RVT or ARRT – Vascular certification, and maintains current BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have ARDMS RVT or ARRT – Vascular with current certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Ability to perform sonographic procedures following established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures to detect pathology or assist in treatment.
• Operates department equipment and prepares films for radiologist review.
• Maintains professional rapport with staff and communicates under supervision of Imaging Supervisor.
