Job summary

Sinai Chicago is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to produce high-quality images for OB/Gyn, general and vascular assessments. You will operate ultrasound equipment, follow established protocols, and integrate imaging with patient history and labs.

The role requires ARDMS certification, 1–2 years of scanning experience, and an ability to rotate across Sinai sites while maintaining equipment and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Accredited education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
• ARDMS certification is required for all caregivers.
• Proficiency in ultrasound imaging and adherence to imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic sonographic images of high-risk OB/Gyn, general and vascular structures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and select appropriate transducers and controls.
• Integrate imaging with laboratory results, patient history and medical records.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report malfunctions promptly.
• Adhere to ACR/SDMS/AIUM protocols and document procedures in system software.
• Rotate across multiple sites within the Sinai Health System as needed.
