Qualifications

• ARDMS certified with RVT and Abdomen or OB/GYN.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Graduate of AMA-accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment per safety and infection control policies.
• Review patient history and physician orders before examinations.
• Ensure medical necessity and complete orders with relevant information.
• Inspect images for quality and correct patient identifiers before interpretation.
• Assist with training of new technologists and residents as needed.
• Operate equipment safely and perform quality control procedures.
