HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to provide patient care during ultrasound procedures, operate imaging equipment, and relay diagnostic images to physicians. The role includes assisting with scheduling and inventory, and taking on-call responsibilities for after-hours coverage.

The position requires certification in BCLS within 30 days, graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program or equivalent, and ARDMS/ARRT registrations with specific sonography or

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program or equivalent education.
• Must have ARDMS Registered in physics and one other registry, or ARRT (S) Sonography
• ARDMS RVT, or ARRT (VS) Vascular Sonography required within one year

Responsibilities

• Provides care for patients requiring Ultrasound procedures.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and sets appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images.
• Relays images and pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation.
• Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling.
• Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage.

Education

Graduate of accredited Ultrasound Program or equivalent education
