Job Summary and Qualifications

Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer

OurImagingTeams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis.As our new Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will performroutine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care.If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity.

Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures
• Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), or RDMS OB/GYN Specialty, or RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
