Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARDMS certification required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and before direct patient care.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• A minimally required Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sonography equipment to produce images of specified body areas and perform related technical functions.
• Demonstrate skills to provide high-quality images for abdominal, small parts, OB/Gyn, and pediatric ultrasounds.
• Provide imaging guidance during invasive procedures as needed.
• Imaging performed in accordance with safe patient practices.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Provide safe patient care and excellent customer service to all patient populations.
• Demonstrate strong communication with patients, physicians, and intra-/inter-departmental teams.
• Accept additional responsibilities as designated by Diagnostic Imaging leadership.
