Job summary

Lexington Health, Inc. seeks a Sonographer to independently operate ultrasound equipment and perform diagnostic examinations. You will communicate results and assist Radiologists with invasive procedures in an acute care setting.

The role requires RDMS (or registry eligibility with RDMS to be obtained within 12 months) and BLS certification. Responsibilities include caring for patients across age groups and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) is required or candidate must be registry eligible and obtain RDMS within one year of employment.
• BLS certification or certification within 3 months of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and communicates results of diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
• Assists Radiologist with invasive procedures in the acute care setting.
• Demonstrates competence to provide developmentally appropriate care across age groups.
