Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a skilled ultrasound technologist to perform procedures in emergency settings, ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will operate diagnostic equipment, maintain a clean work area, and communicate effectively with hospital staff and patients.

The role requires ARDMS RDMS, BLS/CPR, and the ability to work independently while meeting health requirements. Expect a fast-paced ER environment with teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS certification – RDMS, ideally in Ab or OB.
• Valid driver’s license and BLS/CPR certification.
• Comfort with abdominal, general OB, and general vascular scans.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Pass hospital-employment health requirements, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures, primarily in emergency-room environments.
• Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients.
• Maintain equipment and work-area cleanliness.
• Communicate professionally with hospital staff and colleagues.
• Use necessary technical equipment in the diagnostic modality.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.
