Job summary

Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, WA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic breast ultrasounds and assist physicians in procedures. This full-time, day-shift role centers on Breast Health and provides an opportunity to contribute as a department resource with a strong patient-care focus.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited ultrasound program degree, RDMS certification, and hospital or breast imaging experience; a $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited ultrasound or echo program, or satisfactory completion of a formal military or hospital-based ultrasound training program required.
• RDMS (Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registry is required. Requires successful completion of a minimum of 1 physics registry exam, and a minimum of one specialty exam, e.g. Echo, OB or abdomen.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred for lead position.
• Previous breast imaging experience strongly preferred.

An Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing screening/ diagnostic breast ultrasounds as well as assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures in accordance with department policy and procedure. Serves as a resource within the department, is a positive contributor, and provides exceptional patient care.

Full Time / Day Shift

Primary Concentration: Breast Health

Monday-Friday 7:30-16:00

Qualifications:

Ultrasound Tech

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited ultrasound or echo program, or satisfactory completion of a formal military or hospital-based ultrasound training program required.

• RDMS (Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registry is required. Requires successful completion of a minimum of 1 physics registry exam, and a minimum of one specialty exam, E.g. Echo, OB or abdomen. Annual renewal of RDMS required by Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.

• Previous hospital experience preferred.

• Previous supervisory experience preferred for lead position.

• Previous breast imaging experience strongly preferred.
