Job summary

Northside Hospital, Inc. in Atlanta is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to operate ultrasound scanning equipment and produce records across patient ages. Candidates must be ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certified or eligible, CPR certified, and complete CEUs with breast ultrasound if applicable.

The role requires continuing experience in breast ultrasound and ongoing certification within 12 months of eligibility. Weekend and on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification and current registration, or ARRT post-primary certification and current registration in the relevant modality
• CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment
• 5 CEUs specific to breast ultrasound for breast ultrasound credentials
• Regular performance of breast ultrasound exams
• CE requirements as per certifying organization for imaging modality

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy across age groups.

Education

ARDMS certification and current registration OR ARRT (S) OR CCI for cardiac departments

CPR certification or within 90 days of employment

Breast ultrasound credentials: ARDMS/ARRT MQSA where applicable
