Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a diagnostic ultrasound technologist to operate ultrasound equipment and perform high-quality non-invasive vascular examinations across infant to geriatric patients.

You will provide accurate descriptions and preliminary interpretations for physician review, and manage daily operation and maintenance of the ultrasound system. Prior ultrasound experience and cardiovascular/vascular technologist registrations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of ultrasound technology.
• Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with two years cardiac experience.
• Registered Vascular Technologist with two years vascular experience.
• Prior ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy across age groups.
• Perform high quality diagnostic non-invasive vascular examinations.
• Provide accurate medical descriptions and preliminary interpretations for physician review and operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.

Operates ultrasound scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Duties are including but not limited to performing high quality diagnostic non-invasive vascular examinations involving disorders affecting the vascular systems, providing accurate medical descriptions and preliminary interpretations (verbal and written) for physician review and operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.

PREFERRED:

• Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology
• Prior experience in ultrasound
• Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with two (2) years cardiac related experience
• Registered Vascular Technologist with two (2) years vascular related experience
