Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Palm Beach County, FL, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform imaging procedures, operate equipment, and prepare films for radiologists within the Imaging Department.

Position requires BCLS within 30 days of hire, Vocational School Graduate, RDMS Abdomen or OB/GYN, and RVT certification within 6 months. On-site role with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty, or (RDMS-OB/GYN) RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures to detect pathology, evaluate function, or assist in treatment.
• Operates all Imaging Department equipment and develops films for presentation to the radiologist.
• Establishes and maintains a good rapport with co-workers, other departments and Medical Staff.
• Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
