Job summary

Murfreesboro Medical Clinic Radiology is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment, perform exams, and communicate findings to physicians. You will manage lab operations, maintain equipment, and contribute to quality assurance within a diverse clinical team.

The role requires ARDMS certification, a relevant program degree, CME compliance, and at least 3 years in ultrasound, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Radiologic Technology program with ARDMS is required.
• Active ARDMS certification in the specialty as appropriate.
• CME requirements compliant for specialty as appropriate.
• Minimum of 3 years in ultrasound modality.

Responsibilities

• Perform all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician.
• Prepare preliminary reports and contact referring physicians when required.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure appropriate patient care.
• Address problems of patient care as they arise and resolve them.
• Organize daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of all patients in the sonographic area.
