Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiology procedures.
• Take radiographs following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards.
• Use radiation protection and shielding appropriately.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and report malfunctions.
• Log radiology procedures and related paperwork using computer systems.
• Maintain procedure room and stock supplies; light cleaning.
• Produce digital X-rays and send via PACS to the Radiologist for interpretation.
