Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist who, under the direction of a Radiologist, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in evaluating pathology prescribed by a physician. You will determine imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety practices aligned with departmental protocols.
The role requires ARDMS eligibility or registration, completion of SPI/Abdomen/OB-GYN ARDMS exams within 12 months of hire, and maintenance of ongoing medical education

Under the direction of a Radiologist, specializes in the performance of diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician. Performs related functions according to department protocols. Utilizes independent judgment in determining appropriate imaging techniques, patient positioning, and safety practices.
The ARDMS defines 'candidate' as an applicant who has met the prerequisites required to sit for an ARDMS examination. If eligible candidate, successful completion of SPI, Abdomen, and OB/GYN ARDMS examinations required within 12 months of date of hire.
Failure to obtain registry within the designated timeframe will result in termination of the Ultrasound Technologist position.
