Position Summary

The ultrasound technologist produces two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by the physician in diagnosing disease and studying malfunction of organs. The technologist modifies and delivers care specific to the age, growth, and level of development of patients including adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The technologist must be familiar with all Radiologist Protocols for general ultrasound examinations.

Minimum Requirements

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Two Year Degree Required- or higher.
• Diagnostic technologist RT(R), preferred but not required.
• ARDMS registration with current certification or registry obtained within the first six months of employment.
• A minimum of two (2) years in an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology or ultrasound.
• CPR Certification

Pay Range

$30.00 - $43.73
