Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Completion of an approved ultrasound program by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound exams and interpret results.
  • Prepare patients for exams and ensure their comfort.
  • Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment.

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Ultrasound Technologist - Days
Position Highlights:
  • Position: Ultrasound Technologist
  • Location: Skokie Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time 40 hours
  • Hours: Day hours
  • Call: 6-8 calls per month
What you will do:
  • Perform ultrasound exams
  • Prepare patients for exams: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure their comfort
  • Interpret ultrasound results
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Schedule patients if necessary
What you will need:
  • License: N/A
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Certification: CPR-BLS required. Completion of an approved formal ultrasound program by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers is required. Registry eligible candidates are required; preference for Registered Ultrasound Technologist
  • Skills: N/A
