Ultrasound Technologist (Traveling Floater Position)

As a Traveling Ultrasound Technologist, you'll enjoy a lively, fast-paced work environment where you make a difference. This position involves extensive travel but offers no third shift, no on-call duties, Sundays, or holidays, and includes one full week off per month. Travel from hotel to hotel, town to town, and see the country like never before!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Travel with a team in a company vehicle to different locations daily.
• Assist with loading/unloading equipment and setting up/breaking down mobile screening events.
• Use portable ultrasound technology to perform scans of carotid arteries and abdominal aortas.
• Cross-train for non-ultrasound duties such as ABI, EKG, vitals, finger sticks, and bone density testing.
• Educate participants, review medical histories, and suggest medically appropriate services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel, Schedule, and Additional Details:

• Schedules are Monday to Friday and Saturdays.
• Rotational schedule of 3 weeks on, 1 week off.
• Paid flights and car rentals, plus hourly pay for commute time.
• Paid travel for commutes ranging from 30 minutes to 4 hours one-way.
• Hotel stays are paid.
• Team bonuses available.
