Job summary

RadNet in the United States is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join a dedicated imaging team delivering high-quality patient care. You will perform ultrasound procedures, assist radiologists, and monitor patient well-being in a professional clinical setting.

Applicants should have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma, passed SPI, and hold ARDMS certifications or registry eligibility; BLS is required. This role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ultrasound technologist program completed with diploma.
• SPI examination passed.
• Current ARDMS certifications or registry eligible preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and instrument operation.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to any medical concerns.
• Safeguard patient information and site medications per policy.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.

You Will

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

• Passed SPI exam

Pay Range: $40.00-$65.00 per hour
