Job description

When you join RadNet as an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high‑quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist radiologists with ultrasound‑guided biopsies and procedures when needed.
  • Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store acoustic information during clinical examinations.
  • Monitor patients’ well‑being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and protected health information.
  • Safeguard on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Show respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Required Credentials
  • Completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma.
  • Passed the SPI exam.
  • Current ARDMS certification or ARDMS Registry eligibility preferred.
  • Must have BLS certification.

Pay Range: $32.00‑$44.00 per hour
