Ultrasound Technologist

RadNet is a leading radiology organization committed to patient care. As an Ultrasound Technologist you will join a dedicated team delivering quality, value and access to patients.

Responsibilities

You will perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements. Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed. Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations. Monitor patient well‑being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action. Safeguard patient property, patient health information, on‑site medications and company property. Demonstrate respect for company property, patient boundaries, cultural sensitivities and maintain professional behavior toward patients, colleagues and the public. Establish, nurture and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Qualifications

• Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement while remaining professional.
• Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests and colleagues.
• Structured work approach, ability to understand complex problems and prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• Passed SPI exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
• BLS certification.

Pay Range

$24.00 - $36.00 per hour
